RESIDENCES AT SYMPHONY CENTER:
Having built a 6 level parking garage and two three story, class A office buildings, the developer asked J.T. Fishman & Associates to design the residential component of the project. JT Fishman and Associates planned and designed a 13 story apartment building as part of the ongoing renaissance of the cultural district of Baltimore. As part of the Maryland Transit Authority initiative to revive a property adjacent to the Meyerhoff Concert Hall, this building houses 137 luxury apartments. Included in this building are such amenities as a fitness center, concierge service, and a private courtyard for the building residences.
JTFA designed this building to take advantage of the views that the surrounding area has to offer. The design was praised by the Baltimore Design Advisory panel for the use of a very difficult site, its unique architecture and appropriate response to the surrounding neighborhood.
